STOKE ST MARY HISTORICAL RECORDS
The parish of Stoke St Mary is located three miles south of Taunton in Somerset.
The Stoke St Mary History Group was founded in April 2008 to record information about Stoke St Mary and to promote our history and heritage in the community.
The group currently has about 40 members, mostly in the village. It is made up of people of all ages who have an interest in local history, particularly anything that concerns the village.
We have five or six talks and/or visits of local historical interest each year. We also have a research group who are currently looking at various aspects of the history of the village.
Currently our membership fee is £10 per annum
Non members are welcome at £3 per talk or visit
